Recipe History
Cauliflower fried rice emerged as a popular low-carb alternative to traditional fried rice in the early 2010s, driven by the rise of keto and paleo diets. By replacing rice with finely chopped cauliflower, home cooks found a way to enjoy the texture and flavor of fried rice without the carbs. Adding protein-rich ingredients like chicken and bacon makes it a complete, satisfying meal that blends Asian-inspired flavors with modern dietary preferences.
