Recipe History
Cranberry Chicken Salad is a modern twist on the classic chicken salad, blending sweet and savory flavors for a refreshing upgrade. While traditional chicken salad has been a staple in American kitchens since the early 1900s—often made with mayonnaise, celery, and seasonings—the addition of dried cranberries brings a fruity brightness that gained popularity in the late 20th century. This version is especially loved for its balance of creamy texture, tangy mustard, and the chewy sweetness of cranberries, making it perfect for wraps, sandwiches, or light lunches.
